Three Great Vintages of La Court to celebrate 20 years of the Art Park

This summer, Art Park La Court celebrates 20 years since its inauguration.  It was June 2003 and, for the first time in Piedmont, the public had the chance to visit an art park on the hills of Monferrato, one of the very first examples of Land Art among the vineyards in Italy (>> read our dedicated entry to know more).

To celebrate this important milestone, the Michele Chiarlo Wine Club offers its members an unmissable opportunity: three different vintages of its most important Riserva, made with grapes grown on the vineyards where the Art Park came to life.

We are talking about the 2015, 2016 and 2017 vintages of La Court Nizza DOCG Riserva: a wine produced in a limited number of bottles only during exceptional vintages, exclusively available prior allocation.

THREE EXTRAORDINARY VINTAGES

The vintages included in the latest lot from the Michele Chiarlo Wine Club are a limited edition, exclusively made available during very special occasions and cannot be found elsewhere. Truly exceptional vintages, each with a distinct expressive identity.

2015 ★★★★★ | Everybody knows that 2015 is among the most outstanding vintages of the new Millennium. This vintage has left a mark in the winemaking history of red wines in the last twenty years, particularly of Nizza, whose Barbera grapes expressed utmost elegance, concentration and acidity. An unforgettable year, a must grab!

2016 ★★★★★ | Another masterpiece. Perfectly ripe Barbera grapes, characterized by exceptional balance between sweetness and acidity, arrived in the cellar. One of those vintages that, despite having experienced abundant rain in the beginning, enjoyed a warm and regular summer season, bringing the grapes to a slow and gradual maturation, until harvest. Nizza wines from 2016 stand out for exceptional quality and elegance, suitable for long aging.

2017 ★★★★ | An excellent vintage distinguished by a spring awakening. The year was precocious, and the rigid temperatures in April were balanced out by a fairly regular summer. Frosts reduced the quantity harvested, but the fruits collected were endowed with extraordinary quality. Nizza wines from 2017 stand out for the healthy and crunchy grapes that endowed the wines with a multifaceted personality, one wherein a surprising freshness conveys excellent balance and longevity.
