A semester of achievements
We’ve crossed the halfway mark of the year, and it’s time for our mid-year assessment. The first half has been incredibly busy and rewarding: we’ve traveled extensively, showcasing “the best crus in Piemonte” worldwide, attending industry fairs, and reconnecting with both old and new friends and colleagues. We’ve launched initiatives supporting biodiversity and our terroir, opened an art exhibition, and published the third edition of our CRU magazine.
Most importantly, we’re thrilled to share that our wines have received outstanding ratings and acclaim from top international critics.
Our Barolo Cerequio has garnered exceptional scores – notably, 96 points for the 2019 vintage from Wine Enthusiast (“very pure, very elegant and lifted”, according to Jeff Porter) and 96 points from Vinum, along with 95 points each from The Drinks Business and Decanter for the 2020 vintage – described by Colin Hay as “truly superb”.
Barbaresco Faset 2021 has also shined brightly, achieving 94 points from The Drinks Business and Wine Enthusiast. According to Jeff Porter, “Each sip is a journey through a dense forest of flavors”, revealing layers of complexity with every taste.
Our debut Barbaresco Montestefano Riserva 2019 didn’t go unnoticed, taking home 95 points from KO Wine and earning praise from Kerin O’Keefe for its classic Nebbiolo aromas and the balance of finesse and complexity.
