Sharing in Support: Michele Chiarlo with C’è Da Fare and Progetto Itaca

Sometimes wine can be part of a story that goes beyond itself – and become a way of supporting a shared cause.

Over the past few months, Michele Chiarlo has supported two organisations working in the field of mental health and wellbeing: C’è Da Fare ETS, which focuses on the psychological and neuropsychiatric challenges faced by adolescents, and Progetto Itaca, which has long been active in awareness, prevention, support and inclusion for people living with mental health conditions and their families.

Two very different initiatives, brought together by the same aim: to make a meaningful contribution to projects centred on people and their needs.

With C’è Da Fare, supporting younger generations

The first occasion was the C’è Da Fare ETS Charity Dinner, held on 18 March 2026 at Magma Spazio Eventi in Milan.
Founded in 2023 by Paolo Kessisoglu and Silvia Rocchi, C’è Da Fare supports adolescents and families facing psychological and neuropsychiatric difficulties. One of its main projects is C’è Da Fare Safe Teen, developed in partnership with Milan’s Niguarda Hospital to offer practical support in response to the growing mental health challenges affecting young people.
Michele Chiarlo took part as a Donor, supporting an evening that brought together partners, supporters and friends of the organisation with a shared goal: to expand the programmes available to adolescents and their families.
The dinner raised more than €131,000, also thanks to a silent auction organised with Memorabid, with companies, artists and personalities from the worlds of sport and entertainment donating special experiences and items.

Il Bel Viaggio with Progetto Itaca

That same spirit shaped Michele Chiarlo’s participation in the 2026 edition of Il Bel Viaggio, the charity dinner organised by Progetto Itaca Milano in support of programmes for people living with mental health conditions and their families.
Each year, the event brings together supporters and guests for an evening of fundraising that also includes a charity auction. For the 2026 edition, Michele Chiarlo donated a vertical of Barolo Cerequio featuring the 2022, 2021, 2020, 2018, 2015 and 2011 vintages, offered in the same lot as a magnum of Tenuta San Guido’s Guidalberto 2023.
The funds raised will support a full year of activities at Club Itaca Milano, a place where 263 members with experience of mental health difficulties can rebuild a daily routine, connect with a community and regain a sense of purpose.
Founded in Milan, Progetto Itaca is now a nationwide network, with programmes focused on prevention, awareness, rehabilitation and social and professional inclusion. Il Bel Viaggio is one of its key annual fundraising events and an important opportunity to share the organisation’s work.

C’è Da Fare and Progetto Itaca work with different age groups and different needs, but they share the same focus: creating practical support, opportunities and pathways for people going through particularly vulnerable moments in their lives.

For all of us at Michele Chiarlo, taking part in initiatives like these means sharing something of our own world – wine, hospitality and the time held in each bottle – and allowing it to become part of someone else’s story.

Our thanks go to the people, volunteers and professionals at C’è Da Fare and Progetto Itaca, and to everyone whose daily commitment makes these projects possible.
