It
is universally acknowledged by most experts that the soil and microclimate
in Rovereto are highly suited to the production of a Gavi of the
utmost prestige. . In this blessed, small zone, at the centre of
which is to be found our modern vinification facility, we have chosen
the ideal vineyards for the production of our wine: said vineyards
are planted on ground mainly composed of clayey marl of volcanic
origin and limestone, rich in manganese and iron.
The
yields are kept deliberately very low. The Rovereto Gavi of the
commune of Gavi is a wine of the utmost delicacy and complexity
and has a surprisingly long life.
