LE ORME Barberad'Asti

Characteristics: on the nose it shows itself to be rich in ripe fruit and possesses a marked elegance; on the palate it is pleasantly easy to drink, harmonious and tasty. The aforementioned features make it a modern wine, highly successful and suitable for serving with the widest range of dishes.

Life cycle: at least 6-7 years Serving temperature: 17-18° C.

VINEYARD

Vine: Barbera 100%
Vine training method: Guyot
Area of provenance: southern Asti province; especially the hills around Nizza Monferrato
Rootstocks per hectare: 4500
Yield per hectare: 60 hl
Harvest period: 12-18 September

Fermentation: 10 days in contact with the skins, at 28-30° C.
Maturation: 8 months in 50-hl oak barrels
