Brunate is a splendid
location lying on the hillside of the majestic Barolo-La Morra
amphitheatre, bordering Cerequio, with a west, south-west exposure;
the average altitude is 300 metres a.s.l., and the soil is composed
mainly of calcareous marl of Tortonian origin, wherein are to
be found many microelements, foremost among which manganese and
iron.
Though
bordering on Cerequio, it is surprising how different are its
structural and olfactory features: this is the most evident demonstration
of the profound influence the composition of the soil and its
microelements have on the typology of wine and how much said features
change, even between neighbouring microzones. .

cycle: it reaches its peak after 4 years, and continues developing
well for up to 10-12 years.
